THE RANGER'S POSSE IN THE
BADLANDS OF ELVASTON (A TRUE STORY)
Dear Me! What's this? Trouble in Gotham City? Is
it the Joker? No, just the Ranger Service at
Elvaston Castle! What were they doing this
Tuesday (07/12/04)?
Running around the estate, on foot and in the
Landrover, looking for someone taking
photographs! Will Bunny escape? or will the
Commissioner get his man? In your dreams
Commissioner!
Can you imagine that? The yobs are pushing walls
down, there are people armed with guns going onto
the Estate, and items being stolen, but the
Rangers are chasing poor old Bunny? Well kiss my
scut boys! Bunny
PS: Try goin' the other way next time! |

GALLERIES OF SHAME
THE COUNTY COUNCIL'S GALLERY OF
SHAME AT ELVASTON
Derbyshire
County Council has the phrase "Improving Life For
Local People," underneath it's logo. On the Cultural
and Community page of the Council's web site, it trumpets
on with civic pride about some of the museum attractions
in the north of the county, in places such as Buxton, and
Castleton. Although I would always support anything which
protects our heritage, I can only rage at the bare,
two-faced hypocrisy of the Derbyshire County Council and
the damage and destruction that they are responsible for
here in the less fashionable south.... more >>>

THE WRECKED AND RUINED ARTEFACTS AT
ELVASTON CASTLE
'Derbyshire County Council is an 'Excellent' council
working to improve the lives of local people by
delivering high quality services'. This is one of the
empty slogans that are delivered by the totally useless
and long past their sell-by-date Derbyshire County
Council. The sooner these buffoons are thrown out of
office by the seats of their pants, the better it will be
for ALL the people of Derbyshire, no matter what side of
the political fence they come from.... more >>>

OFFICIAL ACTS OF CORPORATE VANDALISM
Here is even
more evidence of the terrible and criminal neglect of the
museum artefacts and the buildings at Elvaston Castle by
the Derbyshire County Council. View for yourself these
pictures which constitute a NATIONAL scandal. A rare
Fordson tractor with iron gripper lugs welded to the rear
wheels, trailers and machinery from a golden age of
agriculture in this country, just rotting and rusting
away, in the same plight as the country itself, being
run, as it is, by people of similar intellectual ability
as those responsible for the dereliction of this
beautiful place.... more >>>

IGNORANCE AND CONTEMPT SHOWN BY
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
We arent trying
to swamp the viewers to our galleries with images this
bad to gain the Turner Prize. This is to emphasise the
extent of the pointless, hopeless state of dereliction
that the Derbyshire County Council has rendered Elvaston
Castle and Country Park into. Not only them but Derby
City Council too.We are running out of adjectives capable
of describing the gravity of what has been done here.
Nothing short of cultural vandalism on an industrial
scale.... more >>>

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL,
DESTROYERS OF HERITAGE
As well as boxes of rotting horse-harness,
tools, equipment and various other artefacts, including
rare machinery, there is a building which caught fire in
the roof space seven years ago. The fire was blamed on
vandals but was rumoured to have actually occurred
because water entered through an unrepaired hole in the
roof and got into the electrics. The caring
council have done nothing in the last SEVEN years, not
even to have the ranger staff move the charred roof
timbers from the machinery that they landed on.... more >>>
