SPEEDING - COMMENT
Just like to convey my commiserations to
Ernie Harbon after his 7 days of free board and lodging
at Leicester and whose appeal failed (no surprises there)
as the courts are as bad as the "Partnership".
At least he has principles which is more than can be said
about others. Even when they are found to have the
incorrect signs by an ex officer (Richard Bentley) and be
wrong in their interpretation of the laws they still
bring about unlawful prosecutions and institute draconian
measures.
How many of the partnership listen to the news to
evauluate that drink driving is on the increase? Parents
having lost family to such incidents and 1 in 3 teenagers
claiming to drinking and driving. What qualifications
does one require to operate in such positions? No doubt a
degree in art. Which brings to mind the progamme on
Belmarsh prison. What a deplorable situation they have in
the prison service when no interviews are operated.
No qualifications required and only one having a degree.
Yes, maybe some brains (but for what use) but no common
sense which is very short in todays world. If that is the
standard for the prison service then its god help us
mortals with the other authorities. As with the Community
officers now going to be recruited, I expect the
qualifications required must be, Pension Book, Parking
Pass or Bus Pass.
Some may remember those who claimed WMDs were to be found
and the situation that now exsists in Iraq. One only has
to look back at Bosnia, Afganistan, Korea, Vietnam (a
classic) and other South American countries to evaluate
what has happened to these countries by forcing their
idealogical thoughts onto them.
Also our great friend John Prescot (ex transport
minister) who has failed yet again to force his ideas
onto the public of the North East and still insists that
the Country adopts (is forced to accept) his ideas.
Devolution means they cannot and do not know how to
govern and must pass the buck to someone as the country
is in such a state. Once again my thoughts are with Ernie
and he can have a pint with me any day.
At least I know he has principles (as I do) which are
none existant elsewhere in Derbyshire. I was once
informed that Socialism was a mild form of communism. How
right they were. Alienated
