CUSTOMER SERVICE? - Anglian Windows

Andy Hainge is still waiting for his double glazing to be fixed after THREE YEARS of cock-ups. He saved £6,000 to have his house transformed by Anglian Windows, and he has had to put up with...

TWENTY-SIX visits by contractors to iron out problems that still aren't fixed.

SIX replacements for a door that won't open properly.

GAPS in windows and doors.

ELEVEN missed appointments which cost Andy his wage for being off work.

And to cap it all, he is now being bombarded with calls from Anglian to buy a conservatory.

Anglian advertises as the UK's leading PVCV double-glazing company and carries out 62,000 installations a year. A spokeswoman said, "Following remedial work carried out, Anglian is completely satisfied we have completed the installation according to our terms of business. We have recently returned to Mr Hainge's property to replace a handle. Compensation is reviewed by individual case and in this instance the matter of compensation is not available. We wish to restate that customer service and customer satisfaction are top priorities at Anglian." (Source:
